How do i know when to increase my cleaning service fee?

I own a janitorial service company and i would like to know what kind of information do i need to increase my fees. Or how do i know when to increase my fees.|||There are 2 ways.

One is to base it on expenses and income. If you are not making enough money, then you need to cut expenses and/or increase income. However, if you are alreay charging the top dollar, this will result in losing customers.

The 2nd way is to see with your competition is charging. If they are getting more for the same services, you should be able to increase your prices without much fear of losing customers.|||when the economy is good and prices of other commodities are rising, you better rise your price too..|||If you're thinking about raising your fees, you might consider either changing the fee "next month" or give your clients 2 months to prepare for it "beginning in June we will be changing our prices" Or you might consider a regular price for new clients that's a bit high but after they use you for so long the price goes down.......or they get a free month or something.

Just thinking....
